Abstract:

To provide a traveling device and a traveling method capable of traveling a subject in a horizontal state even on a member with a slope.

The traveling device and the traveling method include a rail 7 fixed on a girder 3 and traveling a traveling type tower crane 1, a winch 51 installed on the rail 7 and pulling the traveling type tower crane 1 by a wire 61, first attachments 25 and 27 provided on the lower part of a base frame 21 and adjusting the inclination of the traveling type tower crane 1 to the inclination in the traveling direction of the traveling type tower crane 1, a second attachment 37 adjusting the inclination of the traveling type tower crane 1 in a direction at right angles to the traveling direction and a wheel 32 capable of traveling on the rail 7.
