To economically and efficiently improve the adherence and drying of an anti-blocking agent to the pellet of compound.
A duct 23 having a pellet conveying screw 24 therein is inclined and installed. An anti-blocking agent water solution tank 43 for containing the lower end of the duct 23 is provided. The solution is sprayed by an anti- blocking agent water solution spray nozzle 46 to pellet 50 supplied to the hopper 40 of the lower part installed of the duct 3 to adhere the agent to the surface of the pellet 50. The pellet 50 is fed upward by the screw 24, dried by hot air fed into the duct 23 by a blower 31, an air heater 32 and a hot air supply tube 33, and exhausted from the upper exhaust chute 48 to a tank 49. Since the solution 44 is treated only in the lower part of the duct 23, more than necessary solution is not consumed, the pellet 50 is rapidly dried, and economically and efficiently treated without contaminating the apparatus.
