Abstract:

To provide a method for treatment of conditions, such as dyspnea, related to an acute uncompensated heart failure (AHF).

The method consists of the administration of human H1 preprorelaxin, prorelaxin, and relaxin each containing a biologically active relaxin obtained from recombinant, composite, and natural supply sources and additionally a relaxin variant such as an amino acid sequence variant; H2 preprorelaxin, prorelaxin, and relaxin; and H3 preprorelaxin, prorelaxin, and relaxin.
