Abstract:
To provide a truck frame for a railroad vehicle and its manufacturing method in which the small-lot production thereof is possible without increasing the cost.
In the truck frame 1 for the railroad vehicle, a pair of right and left side beams 2 are connected to a transverse beam 3, and the side beams 2 are formed by locally heating one steel tube W by a heating means using such as the induction heating or the burner-heating, and allowing a heated portion to be subjected to the sectional deformation or the bending deformation and to be formed in a specified shape.
