Title:
TUBULAR BODY AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3224006
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the bending of a product and to provide a tubular body to be easily manufactured by balancing with the bending moment generated due to temperature change owning to the irregularity in the thickness and the inclination of reinforcing fiber.
CONSTITUTION: When fiber-reinforced resin prepreg using thermosetting resin is wound on a core metal to form a beam tube material and a certain temperature difference is given like the case that it is cooled to the ambient temperature even if the beam tube 10 is not bent without thermal stress in the state that it is heated to be cured at the molding temperature, a bending moment is generated based on the thermal stress of the axial direction X generated in each part in an assymetrical structure to bend along the longitudinal direction. In order to prevent such a bending of the tube 10, reinforcing fiber used in the section and matrix synthetic resin may be so selected that the bending moment along the direction X of the tube 10 obtained by the production of the longitudinal elastic modulus and the linear expansion coefficient is substantially balanced as the entire section at the position based on the temperature change at each part.
