To solve a problem in a conventional heat exchanger wherein heat transfer performance is not sufficient due to a small contact area between first fluid tubing and second fluid tubing because the outer periphery of the first fluid tubing is a smooth tube or a corrugated tube.
This twisted tube type heat exchanger includes the first fluid tubing formed by twisting and spirally provided with multiple lines of crest and trough bottom parts on the outer periphery continuously for each line, and the second fluid tubing spirally wound along the shape of the crest and trough bottom parts on the outer periphery of the first fluid tubing. The second fluid tubing is fitted into the crest and trough bottom parts of the first fluid tubing to provide heat transfer joinable constitution.
