Abstract:
To provide a light-weight fabric excellent in flame resistance, heat shielding property and gas permeability, and a heat protective clothing.SOLUTION: There is provided a two-layered fabric comprising a flame retardant fiber, having two-layered planes and a binding thread connecting the layers, with a permeability specified by Frazier method in accordance with JIS L 1096 of 140 cm3/cm2 sec or more. It is preferable that the two-layered fabric has a plurality of rut-shaped irregularities in at least one plane, of which protrusion and concavity comprise fibers having a different diameter. The maximum thickness of the fabric is at least 1.5 or more times the minimum thickness. A protective clothing is made of the two-layered fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
