Title:
SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3240342
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To allow a silver halide color photographic material to have improved sharpness, reduce fog during preservation and reduce sensitivity degradation by containing a compound which releases a specific derivative when reacted with an oxide of a color developer.
CONSTITUTION: This silver halide color photographic material contains a compound which reacts with an oxide of a color developer to release a derivative of 2-mercapto-1,3,4-oxaziazole represented by the formula. In the formula, L1 represents a coupling or a divalent bond; R1 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R2 represents hydrogen atom or a substituent; (n) represents 1-3; and (m) represents 0, 1 or 2. The 2- mercapto-1,3,4-oxaziazole represented by the formula can be released directly from a so-called coupler or indirectly via a timing group by reaction with the oxide of the color developer. Such a coupler residual group may be a residual group that creates yellow, magenta, or cyan pigment, or a residual group that creates a substantially colorless product.
