To provide a master/slave type crime prevention system with a crime suppressing function capable of attaining a sufficient crime preventing function even when an area to be monitored is wide.
A crime prevention system with a crime suppressing function is provided with a master device 40 and a slave device 41. The master device 40 is provided with a sensor part 1 and a crime suppressing part 3, and the slave device 41 is provided with a crime suppressing part 3. The sensor part 1 detects a body in a warning area A. The crime suppressing part 3 generates sound whose volume is large, light whose quantity is large, or a medium directly acting on a body based on the detection by the sensor part 1 to implement a crime suppressing operation. Moreover, the master device 40 is provided with a master device side transmitter 26 for transmitting a start signal f according to the detection of the sensor part 1 for operating the crime suppressing part 3, and the slave device 41 is provided with a slave device side receiver 28 for receiving the start signal, and for operating the crime suppressing part 3 of the slave device 41.
