Abstract:
To reduce the possibility of malfunction of an ultraviolet sensor.SOLUTION: On the internal surface 13-2a of an envelope glass 13-2, a fluorescent light suppression film 16 for suppressing fluorescent light, induced in the envelope glass 13-2 due to discharge between an anode electrode 11 and a cathode electrode 12, is formed. For example, a film composed of a material containing Si or a film composed of a material containing SiOis formed, as the fluorescent light suppression film 16. With such an arrangement, fluorescent light induced in the envelope glass 13-2 is suppressed, development of photoelectric effect by the fluorescent light is restrained in the cathode electrode 12, and malfunction is difficult to occur. The fluorescent light suppression film 16 may also be formed on the internal surface 13-3a of a button stem 13-3, and the envelope glass 13-2 and the button stem 13-3 may be formed of a fluorescent light suppression material (e.g., silica glass).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
