Title:
ULTRASONIC MOTOR AND STEERING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3437781
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the change in the rotary characteristics of a rotor and the backlash of a rotary shaft, by equipping an axial energization member for energizing the rotary shaft in the same direction as a direction where the rotary shaft is energized by the energization force of a press energization member, and absorbing a load that is applied in a direction being opposite to the rotary shaft.
SOLUTION: An accommodation recessed part 21a that is formed at a rotary shaft 21 accommodates an axial energization member 25 consisting of a coil spring 22, a collar 23, and a thrust chip 24, and the coil spring 22 performs energization in the same direction as a Belleville spring 14 energizes the rotary shaft 21. Therefore, when a load is applied to a direction that is opposite to the energization direction, the coil spring 22 nearly absorbs up to 15 kgf load, thus suppressing the change in the rotary characteristics of a rotor 13. Also, since the load being applied to the rotary shaft 21 increases, the frequency for generating the backlash radically decreases, thus suppressing the backlash of the rotary shaft 21.
