A signal line 40A to be connected to a connector 12A of a television camera 12 fixed and supported on a camera supporting stand 30 of a universal head device 10 is wired from a connector 38A on a pedestal part 38 of the universal head device 10 through a pan shaft 36, a universal head driving unit 34, a tilt shaft 32 and the camera supporting stand 30 to a connector 30A of the camera supporting stand 30, and the connector 30A and the connector 12A of the television camera 12 are connected by a camera cable 42. Besides, the connector 30A of the camera supporting stand 30 is provided on a surface (rear end face) except a surface supporting the television camera 12.
