A bearing for supporting a trunnion of a spider is press-fitted into a bearing holding hole 25 formed at a tab 23 of the yoke 20 of the universal joint. A serration 33 which is a ridge extending in the axial direction of the bearing holding hole 25 is formed at the inner periphery 25a of the bearing holding hole 25. The inner periphery 25a of the bearing holding hole 25 includes first and second areas 41, 42 which oppose each other in a direction W1 in which the tab 23 extends. The height h1 of the serration 33 in the first area 41 which is relatively disposed at the front end 231 of the tab is higher than the height h2 of the serration 33 in the second area 42.
