PURPOSE: To enable thread end adherence in a nozzle and its rust to be prevented facilitating ending of a sized thread by melting its starch performing the ending in an ending device thereafter blowing off a liquid component in the inside of the untwisting nozzle with dried pressure air to be evaporated by a heating means.

CONSTITUTION: A solution 25 is blown in an atomized state to a thread end of sucked sized threads YP, YB, and the thread end, melting its adhering starch, is untwisted. The thread end of the sized threads YP, YB is drawn and arranged in an ending hole 9, performing ending by action of a flow of turning air. Next a surplus amount of liquid, scattered in untwisting nozzles 16, 17, is blown off by pressure air and contained into a collecting tank 31 through a hose 30 of a liquid collecting means 29 connected to a back wish side respectively of the nozzles 16, 17. Further a heating means 32 is provided respectively in the nozzles 16, 17, evaporating by a temperature the liquid component, not blown off even by the pressure air, even when the liquid component adheres, thus preventing the thread end of the sized threads YP, YB from adhering into the nozzles 16, 17 while the nozzles 16, 17 from rusting themselves.
