Abstract:
To provide a urination detection device using an electromagnetic induction method between a passive detection tag including a coil and a capacitor and an antenna.SOLUTION: In an urination detection device that detects an electromagnetic induction coupling resonance state or non-resonance state by a detection tag 2 placed in a diaper and an antenna coil band wound around a diaper user in the vicinity of the detection tag, the detection tag forms a resonant circuit by a capacitor configured by sandwiching a dielectric substrate 51 between a pair of electrodes (front electrode 42 and back electrode 43), and a tag coil connected to the capacitor. The antenna coil band detects urination from the capacitance of the capacitor, which changes as the urination water permeates the urination absorber of the diaper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
