Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a supporting of a rotor shaft at a vacuum pump described at the beginning of this specification not having any error at this rotor shaft.SOLUTION: To solve the above problem, this invention relates to a vacuum pump [10] including a rotor [12] with a rotor shaft [14], at least one supporting part [54] for the rotor shaft [14], and a lubricant source for providing lubricant for the supporting part [54]. The rotor shaft [14] has a transporting portion [24], the transporting portion being formed to transport the lubricant generated from the lubricant source toward the supporting part [54] in a transporting direction having at least one element in an axial direction, and the supporting part [54] is fixed to the rotor shaft [14] independently of the transporting portion [24].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
