PURPOSE: To provide the feedback type FM receiver in which the frequency stability due to a temperature change or a secular change or the like of a VCO is improved.
CONSTITUTION: An input FM signal f+Δf is mixed with a VCO output signal fv+Δfv from a VCO 8 at a mixer 1 and an IF signal fi+Δfi is outputted from a variable band pass filter 2, and it is fed to an FM demodulator 5, from which an FM demodulation signal is outputted. On the other hand, a gain of a variable gain low frequency amplifier 10 is controlled by an S meter signal from an IF amplifier 3. Furthermore, an output signal of the VCO 8 is given to a frequency divider 12, in which the signal is subject to 1/N frequency division and a phase comparator 13 compares the phase of the frequency division signal with the phase of a reference signal fr, from which a signal representing a frequency difference component of both signals is outputted and the resulting signal and the FM demodulation signal subject to feedback are added by an adder 9, and the result is used to make the output frequency of the VCO 8 stable.
