Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an on-vehicle audio playback system to be automatically set to a volume desired by a listener, in the entire speed range from low speed to high.
SOLUTION: From a volume setting signal coming from a volume setting part 25 operated by a listener and a vehicle speed pulse signal from a vehicle speed detector 25, a vehicle speed calculating part 28 in a microcomputer 27 calculates vehicle speed, which a vehicle speed/volume storage part 29 stores in relation to the volume set by means of the volume setting part 25. This stored value is renewed every time the listener changes volume settings using the volume setting part 25, and after certain data is obtained by storing these values repeatedly, the vehicle speed calculating part 28 in the microcomputer 27 samples the vehicle speed pulse signal from the vehicle speed detector 26 and reads the volume corresponding to the calculated vehicle speed from the vehicle speed/volume storage part 29, and for the volume, an audio signal from a sound source 21 is automatically set by means of a volume adjusting part 22 and output as a voice from a speaker 24 through a power amplifier 23.
