Title:
VEHICLE BRAKE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009029220
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control system capable of appropriately estimating a road surface from lateral acceleration.

The vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control system 100 is equipped with a side skid determination means 21, a hydraulic pressure control means 24 and a road surface determination means 22. The road surface determination means 22 has a lateral acceleration conversion means 22a for converting to a lateral acceleration evaluated value for representing the magnitude of the lateral acceleration, a change-rate calculation means 22b for calculating a time rate of a change of the lateral acceleration evaluated value, and a determination means 22c which determines that road surface where a vehicle travels is a high road when satisfying a first condition that the lateral acceleration evaluated value is not smaller than a first threshold, or when satisfying a second condition that the time rate of change of the lateral acceleration is not smaller than a predetermined value, and determines that the road surface is a low road when satisfying neither the first condition nor the second condition, when it is determined that the vehicle is in a side-skid state by the side skid determination means and the hydraulic pressure control means 24 starts side skid suppression control.
