The vehicle control device includes parking determination means for determining ongoing driving during parking which is parking driving to a predetermined parking position or starting driving from the predetermined parking position, and parking-time changing means S11, S14, and S17 for performing at least one of changing of criterion values Lth and Dth used for determination by the collision determination means and changing of automatic control content by the collision avoidance control means when ongoing driving during parking is determined.
