The collision avoidance system includes collision determination means S12 and S13 for predicting and determining collision of an own vehicle with an obstacle, and collision avoidance control means for automatically controlling the vehicle so as to reduce the traveling speed of the vehicle when collision is determined. The vehicle control device includes parking determination means for determining ongoing driving during parking which is parking driving to a predetermined parking position or starting driving from the predetermined parking position, and parking-time changing means S11, S14, and S17 for performing at least one of changing of criterion values Lth and Dth used for determination by the collision determination means and changing of automatic control content by the collision avoidance control means when ongoing driving during parking is determined.
