Title:
ON-VEHICLE FILM ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3594224
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle film antenna that can easily be mounted on a vehicle without losing the outward appearance of the vehicle.
SOLUTION: A belt-like transparent film 14 has a wide part 11 and a narrow part 10 and the narrow part 10 is connected to one side of the broad part 11 in its cross direction. An adhesive layer to be adhered to a front glass plate 3 is formed on one face of the film 14, and an antenna conductor 15 is formed on the other face through pattern print. The antenna conductor 15 is extended linearly in the narrow part and placed in zigzag in the wide part. The film antenna 1 is adhered from the interior of the vehicle to a side of the front glass plate 3. In this case, a side edge 23 at the other side of the wide part 11 in its width direction is placed and adhered in parallel with a front pillar 17 with a very smaller clearance. Thus, the side edge of the narrow part 10 is placed at a position apart from the front pillar 17.
