Title:
VEHICLE-MOUNTED ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003087030
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vehicle-mounted antenna for achieving the transmission/ reception of a frequency band for a cellular phone and the reception of AM/FM in a broadcasting frequency band, using a single antenna.

A second antenna element 14 is arranged at the tip of a first antenna element 10, where a frequency band for cellular phones resonates by including a coil 12 for trapping. The first antenna element 10 is formed by successively arranging a coil, where the pitch of the effective length of 1/4 wavelength is larger than the frequency band for cellular phones from a base edge side, a coil where the pitch of the effective length of 1/2 wavelength is small, and a coil where the pitch of the effective length of 1/2 wavelength is large, thus achieving a collinear operation. The coil 12 for trapping is provided for preventing the passage of a frequency band for cellular phones but allowing for the passage of an FM broadcast frequency band, and the effective length from the base edge of the first antenna element 10 to the tip of the second antenna element 14 is set to 1/4 wavelength of the FM broadcast frequency band.
