Title:
VEHICLE-MOUNTED REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3451049
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted refrigerator in which a battery can be prevented from dying even if the load current is varied by detecting overdischarge at a correct battery voltage even if the length of wiring is different among different types of vehicle.
SOLUTION: A control means for preventing overdischarge 13 controls the temperature in the compartment by varying the voltage of a cooling means 8 comprising a thermoelectric element 5 depending on the temperature in the compartment and detects overdischarge of a battery 15 by detecting the input voltage through an input voltage detecting circuit 14. Since the input voltage is compensated by a voltage corresponding to the load current, overdischarge can be detected constantly with a correct battery voltage and the battery is protected against dying.
