Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which makes fine wrinkles less likely to occur in a recessed part on a seat surface even when using natural leather, such as bull leather, in a surface cover at the vehicle seat.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion forming a seating surface part of a seat; a seat back which is provided at the back side of the seat cushion and forms a backrest part of the seat. A recessed part on a surface of at least one of the seat cushion and the seat back includes a cover formed by a fabric including a surface cover material, an adhesive, and a cushioning material. The cover is formed having a recessed shape by heating press work using a metal mold having a curved surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
