Abstract:
The purpose of the present utility model is to form a seat frame for a vehicle seat, said seat frame being lightweight and having a highly synthetic configuration using a relatively inexpensive material. A vehicle seat equipped with a seat cushion and a seat back, the seat back is equipped with a seat back-side frame, a metal lower frame connected to the seat back-side frame, and a urethane pad having a surface covered with a skin. The seat back-side frame is formed by combining a plurality of members formed by injection molding using a fiber-reinforced resin containing short fibers therein. INTERNAL FORMING CAVITY, a cross section of a portion of a member connected to the metal lower frame among the plurality of members constituting the seat back-side frame, the portion being connected tothe metal lower frame. Compared with the section of the seat back frame at the part corresponding to the height of the shoulder of the passenger in the sitting state of the passenger, the wall thickness is formed to be thinner, and the size in the height direction is formed to be larger.
