A vehicle transmission control system includes an output shaft torque calculating means (B2, B3) for determining an output shaft torque of transmission at the timing when a torque demand value of the motive power source in performing clutch-to-clutch transmission and a demand value of a torque capacity of an engagement mechanism of engagement and release sides are output as a control instruction signal. It also includes a correction means (B4) for correcting the torque demand value of the motive power source so that the output shaft torque of the transmission determined by the output shaft torque calculating means becomes identical to an output shaft torque target value.
