Abstract:

To provide a structure which can prevent the double engagement of a transmission, in the transmission for a vehicle having a changeover mechanism including a first ring, a second ring and a spring for connecting the first ring and the second ring.SOLUTION: A transmission for a vehicle comprises interlock mechanisms 74a to 74c for inhibiting the engagement of first engagement teeth of a first dog ring 44 and third engagement teeth of a second dog ring 46 with gear-side dog teeth 36 of a change gear 30 when a changeover mechanism 28 is switched to a block state. Also, the engagement of the first engagement teeth of the first dog ring 44 or the third engagement teeth of the second dog ring 46 with the gear-side dog teeth 36 is released by the interlock mechanisms 74a to 74c even in a transition period in which the changeover mechanism 28 is switched to the block state from a connection state. By this constitution, the changeover mechanism 28 can mechanically prevent the double engagement of the transmission 10 having a double dog ring form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
