Abstract:
To properly set vehicle weight when starting automatic acceleration control.SOLUTION: A vehicle weight setting device 1 includes: a storage section 11 which stores a table in which a plurality of magnitudes of output torque of an engine 3 corresponding to magnitudes of vehicle weight and a plurality of magnitudes of acceleration of a vehicle V with each of the plurality of magnitudes of vehicle weight preliminarily set to the vehicle V in which the vehicle weight is changed; a torque acquisition section 121 which acquires the output torque of the engine of the vehicle V when an accelerator pedal 2 of the vehicle V is operated; an acceleration acquisition section 122 which acquires the acceleration of the vehicle V when the torque acquisition section acquires the output torque; and a vehicle weight setting section 123 which selects the vehicle weight associated with the output torque acquired by the torque acquisition section and the acceleration acquired by the acceleration acquisition section from the table stored in the storage section and sets the vehicle weight as an estimation value of vehicle weight when the vehicle V starts automatic acceleration control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
