Abstract:
To obtain a vehicular interior trimming component which can suppress the occurrence of breaking or creasing in a skin with stitch formation using a sewing machine and improve the degree of freedom of the shape of the skin and a method for producing the component.
The method for producing the vehicular interior trimming component 1 includes a skin forming process for forming the skin 4 having an uneven shape 5 expressing a suture boundary falsely on its surface 4a by mold molding, a molding forming process for forming a molding 2 including the skin 4 and a substrate 3 integrally, and a stitch forming process for putting a stitch rivet 7 expressing a stitch falsely into the surface 2b of the skin 2a of the molding 2.
