Abstract:
To provide a combustion synthesis device for aluminum nitride capable of continuous production.SOLUTION: A vertical combustion synthesis device for aluminum nitride is a device for synthesizing aluminum nitride by igniting raw material powders including metal aluminum powders to spread a nitriding combustion heat to the whole raw material powder. The device comprises: a vertical sealed reaction vessel body 1 capable of storing in a stacked state in a plurality of stages, top face-opened flat box-shaped reaction instrument 2 capable of being filled with the raw material powder; and an ignition apparatus 3 for the material powder stored in the reaction instrument at the uppermost stage stacked on an upper part of the reaction vessel body. Further, an introduction chamber 4 is provided to an upper side part of the reaction vessel body via a gate valve 8 for feeding of the reaction instrument. The reaction instrument is configured to be fed from the introduction chamber to the uppermost stage of the stacked reaction instrument via the gate valve for feeding by conveyance mechanisms 6, 7. A collection chamber 5 is provided to a lower side part of the reaction vessel body via a gate valve 9 for taking out the reaction instrument, and configured to allow the reaction instrument stacked at the lowermost stage to be taken out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
