A storage space is provided in the lid body of connecting sections of stackable containers in a vertical lunch box, making storage therein possible of tools or the like to be used simultaneously with or before/after the meal such as chopsticks, forks, spoons, toothpicks, condiments, medicines, supplements, etc.. Further, for the purpose of securing a larger space in the uppermost lid body, an inverse recessed type uppermost lid body 3 is prepared, with a larger storage capacity secured, and with various small articles made storable. In addition, in the high temperature season in summertime, cold insulators are stored in the lid body 2 of the connecting sections and in the storage space of the uppermost lid body, with lowering of inside temperature attained in the lunch box, making food preservation effect expectable.
