PURPOSE: To minimize settling of electric viscous fluid, by a method wherein the fluid chamber of a vibration absorbing device having upper and lower fluid chambers partitioned by a partition plate having a throttle valve is further partitioned by means of a soft diaphragm.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve having a concentric cylindrical electrode 24 is situated to the central part of a partition plate 12. A thick rubber resilient substance 11 is secured to the partition plate 12, and a fluid chamber 15 is formed therein. A metallic base plate 20 and a diaphragm 13 are located to the under surface of the partition plate 12. A vibrator, e.g. an engine, is secured to a top plate 18 by means of a bolt 19. A main chamber 15 and an auxiliary chamber 16 are partitioned from each other by means of rubberform diaphragms 22 and 23. Fluid chambers 15A and 16A partitioned from each other are filled with electric viscous fluid, and the remaining main chamber 15 and auxiliary chamber 16 are usually filled with fluid. This constitution prevents useless diffusion of electric viscous fluid during vibration, and prevents settling of particles by which viscous fluid is formed.
