To provide a vibration-proof device omitting drawing of an outer cylinder member and ensuring durability.
In the vibration-proof device 1 including cylindrically formed inner cylinder member 10 and outer cylinder member 20, and a vibration-proof substrate 30 made of a rubber elastic body disposed between them, the diameter of a through-hole 31 is increased by press-fitting a cylindrical part 12 into the through-hole 31 and hence the vibration-proof substrate 30 is compressed between the cylindrical part 12 and the outer cylinder member 20. Thus, a compressive force is acted on an adhesion interface between an inner surface of the outer cylinder member 20 and the vibration-proof substrate 30, thereby removing tensile strain of the adhesion interface between the outer cylinder member 20 and the vibration-proof substrate 30 to ensure the durability of the vibration-proof device 1 without performing drawing on the outer cylinder member 20.
