Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress slide friction powder, produced when an oscillator drives a slide member by friction, from scattering to a circumference.SOLUTION: A vibration type motor 20 which has a vibrator 10 having a projection part 1a and a slide member 2 having a frictional slide surface 2a to be in pressure contact with the projection part 1a, and moves the vibrator 10 and the slide member 2 relatively by vibrations caused by the vibrator 10 comprises: a vibrator retaining part 11 which retains the vibrator 10; and a magnet member 7 which is fitted to the vibrator retaining part 11 and extends toward the frictional slide surface 2a. The magnet member 7 magnetically attracts and holds slide friction powder 42 produced as the vibrator 10 and slide member 2 moves relatively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
