To provide a virtual travel or live video provision system which can provide the actual state of an arbitrary spot as video for a user in real time.

This system consists of a video input means 32 provided at each live spot to always input the live video of the live spot in real time, a live video identification data base means 25 which records live video identification data for mutually identifying live video of respective live spots while relating them to respective spots on a map in a map data base 26, a retrieval means 23 which retrieves one piece or more of corresponding live video identification data from the live video identification data base means 25 according to spots specified on the map in the map data base, a video inputting means 26 which inputs corresponding live video by wire or wireless in real time according to the live video identification data retrieved by the retrieving means 23, and a display means 27 which outputs the live video inputted by the video input means.
