Abstract:
To provide a viscosity controller capable of supplying a cleaning solvent to printing cylinders.SOLUTION: A viscosity controller 1 comprises: a suction pipe 31 for suctioning ink; an ejection pipe 32 for ejecting ink to an ink plate 20; a circulation pump 33 causing ink to flow downward from the suction pipe to the ejection pipe; a dilution solvent supply pipe 42 for supplying a dilution solvent from an upstream side of the circulation pump; a viscosity detection unit 44 detecting the viscosity of ink flowing on a downstream side of the circulation pump; a cleaning solvent supply pipe 6 which is connected to the upstream side of the circulation pump and causes the circulation pump to suction the cleaning solvent; and a cleaning solvent supply pipe 7 which is branched from the ejection pipe via a selector valve 71 and causes the cleaning solvent to be ejected to the vicinity of printing cylinders 21 and 22. A first operation valve 35 for operating supply and stoppage of ink to be suctioned is provided in the middle of the suction pipe, and a second operation valve 43 for operating supply and stoppage of the cleaning solvent to be flown is provided in the middle of the suction pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
