PURPOSE: To enable miscellaneous refraction abnormalities of eyeball to be corrected with one sort of construction by forming a small hole or transparent part at the center of main body equipped with a convex outside surface and a concave inside surface which is in contact with a cornea of eyeball and by arranging an opaque part larger than a pupil around the small hole or transparent part.
CONSTITUTION: A contact-lens type visual power correcting instrument 1, which is formed in one body with a material such as transparent soft synthetic resin, is equipped with a convex outside surface 2 and a concave inside surface which is brought into contact with a cornea of eyeball by a surface tension of tear. A hole 5 of 2mm or smaller in diameter (d) is arranged almost at the center of the visual power correcting instrument 1, and it is possible to look outside through this hole 5 when the correcting instrument 1 is in contact with the cornea. Patterns of pupil 6 and iris 7 are formed concentrically with the hole 5 and furthermore the circumference of iris 7 is colored white. An eyeball of abnormal refraction, therefore, has its refraction abnormality corrected as focus depth of an image injected into the eyeball is deepened by the hole 5 so that a vivid image with clear profile is sent to the retina.
