Abstract:
To provide a voltage applying device, especially the one using a cylindrical electrode and a rod electrode, by which a leakage current is minimized to increase the power efficiency, and liquid to be treated is effectively sterilized, cleaned, decolored, deodorized, decomposed and so on.
A voltage is applied between at least a pair of cylindrical electrode and rod electrode, and the liquid to be treated between the electrodes is electrochemically treated by this voltage applying device. In this case, a conductive part is discontinuously formed at least on the face of one electrode confronting the other electrode.
