Title:
VOLTAGE DIVIDING CIRCUIT FOR PHOTOMULTIPLIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2963393
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage dividing circuit for a photomultiplier capable of significantly adjusting an electron multiplication factor of the photomultiplier simply and with low power consumption without degrading collection efficiency and output linearity of the photomultiplier.
SOLUTION: A voltage dividing part 100 divides a division of high voltage(-HV) in a fixed manner to be determined by a resistance value of each of resistance elements 111 to 116, 121, 122, and 131 to 134, and fixedly generates a potential to be supplied to a focusing electrode 820, dynodes 831, 832, and dynodes 836 to 838. On the other hand, a voltage dividing part 300 performs voltage variably dividing according to operation of a variable resistor 332 and applies the potential to diodes 833 to 835.
