Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulation device capable of promptly performing a voltage regulation without awaiting voltage measurement.SOLUTION: When a fault occurs in a generator 11, a detection signal SF11 is outputted from a protection relay 15 to a voltage regulation device 101. Upon receiving the detection signal SF11, the voltage regulation device 101 transmits a compensation command to a load-time tap switcher 4d so as to compensate for a voltage drop of a bus bar 16 (load 13) caused by the load 13 in a transformer 4, switches the tap in such a direction that the number of times of winding a first coil 4a is increased by the load-time tap switcher 4d, and raises a voltage at a side of the first coil 4a. When a fault occurs in a generator 21, upon receiving a detection signal SF12, a voltage regulation device 102 similarly transmits a compensation command to the load-time tap switcher 4d of the transformer 4, switches the tap in such a direction that the number of times of winding the first coil 4a is decreased, and raises a voltage at a side of a second coil 4b. Thus, the voltage drop that occurs in the transformer 4 is compensated and appropriate voltage supply to the load 13 or a load 23 can be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
