To provide a warp-knit lace fabric having fringes extending in the weft direction at the side edge, free from the fraying trouble from the fringe, stably keeping the fringe form and enabling the change of the distance between fringes without changing the thickness of the yarn, especially a warp-knit lace fabric stretchable in the direction perpendicular to the fringe extending direction.
Fringes 5 extending in the weft direction are formed on the side edge 1a of a warp-knit lace fabric A interposing intervals between the fringe in the warp direction, and the root part 51 of the fringe constituting yarn 50 is woven and held on the side edge by insertion knitting. Stretchable yarns are disposed to the ground knit texture 2 and knit by warp knitting to apply stretchability at least in the warp direction.
