PURPOSE: To easily and surely wash the scope of an endoscope by providing the washer with a cabinet in which the scope of the endoscope is housed and a brush to wash the operating part of the scope, an introduction tube and a forceps mouth.
CONSTITUTION: The scope 1 of the endoscope is inserted into the inside of the cabinet 2 of this washer, and the tip part 10a of the introduction tube 10 is mounted so as to be fitted in the fitting part 31 of a rotary disk 18. The brushes 3, 5 and 7 are rotated by driving motors 4, 6 and 8, and the operating part of the scope 1 is washed by jetting washing liquid from a sprinkler 11. Since the introduction tube 10 is covered in circular ring shape with the brush in the inside of an inner case 9, the introduction tube 10 is washed by rotating the motors and operating a pulley 12. Also, the brush 40 is rotated by driving a motor 33, and enters the inside of the forces mouth by the pressing force of a spring 41 at a part where the forceps mouth is located. The brush 40 enters the forceps mouth by driving a motor 34, and the forceps mouth is washed by moving it in a vertical direction.
