To provide a washing and drying apparatus having a drainage system configured to reduce in manufacturing cost, size and weight of a washing and drying machine.
The washing and drying apparatus comprises: a washing and drying tank for washing and drying clothing; a circulation system for circulating dry air for drying the clothing; and a drainage system for draining washing water that has washed the clothing. The drainage system includes: a drainage conduit connected to the washing and drying tank; and a drainage valve for controlling draining of the washing water inside the drainage conduit. The circulation system includes: a dehumidification unit for removing a water content contained in the dry air; and a drain conduit for guiding the water content removed by the dehumidification unit to the drainage conduit arranged below the dehumidification unit.
