To provide a washing and drying machine, and a drying machine, capable of reducing power consumption, and shortening drying time without emitting highly humid air to the room.
The washing and drying machine S includes an outer tank 20, the inside of which is usable as a drying chamber in drying operation, an inner tank 29 rotatably disposed in the outer tank 20 to house the washing 30, a motor 36 to drive the inner tank 29, a case 1k to support the outer tank 20, and form the exterior, a blow passage 5 to send warm air to the inner tank 29, a drying device 6 comprising a heating means and a blow means 61, and a drain hose 9 to drain water discharged from the outer tank 20. One of the heating means is a Peltier element 71 disposed at an upper part in the case 1k. A heat radiation surface 71b of the Peltier element 71 is housed in the blow passage 5 at an upper part in the case 1k, and a heat absorption surface 71a of the Peltier element 71 is disposed outside the blow passage 5.
