To solve the problem that since the generated atomization amount is measured by a current flowing through a high voltage generating circuit, a high insulation measuring circuit is needed, and an expensive and high-safety device is needed, and further since parts of the high voltage generating circuit and a piezoelectric element are varied in performance, complicated control over the high-accuracy atomization amount in a control circuit of an atomizer is required according to a detected current.
In a washing and drying machine, a timer means 11 clocks the operation time of a mist device 3, and a calculating means 12 calculates atomization amount per unit hour from the clocked time and a water reducing amount obtained from a water level difference between first water level detecting means 42 and second water level detecting means 43. An applied voltage is adjusted according to a fixed gradient value of an atomization amount value to an applied voltage to the mist device 3 preset by a setting part 13 to be adjusted to a required atomization amount.
