Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve clothes loading/unloading operability by the shape of a seal member between an upper frame body and an outer tub.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine is provided that includes: an upper frame body 48 provided at an upper part of a housing 1; an upper laundry loading/unloading opening 73 formed at the upper frame body 48; an outer lid 49 for openably/closably covering the upper laundry loading/unloading opening 73; an inner tub 4 for housing the laundry; an outer tub 3 for rotatably including the inner tub 4 and supported by the housing 1 in a vibration-proof manner; an outer tub cover 19 which air-tightly covers an upper opening edge of the outer tub 3 and in which a laundry loading/unloading opening 72 is formed; and a seal member 71 made of an elastic body for air-tightly connecting a lower end part of the upper laundry loading/unloading opening 73 and the laundry loading/unloading opening 72. In the seal member 71, the upper laundry loading/unloading opening 73 side has the maximum diameter, the diameter becomes gradually smaller toward a lower side, and the laundry loading/unloading side has the minimum diameter. Thus, clothes loading/unloading operability can be improved without increasing a diameter dimension of the inner tub 4 and an outer shape dimension of the product.
