Abstract:
To provide a washing machine capable of notifying a user that a water plug open state of a faucet for pouring water to the washing machine is insufficient, at an early time point from the operation start of the washing machine, and to provide a control method of the same.SOLUTION: A cloth amount determination unit 25 determines first weight of laundry in a drum 3 before washing start. A control unit 24 allows a water pouring unit 13 to perform first water pouring according to the first weight, after the determination of the first weight. The cloth amount determination unit 25 determines second weight of the laundry in the drum 3 after first water pouring. An abnormality detection unit 26 detects abnormality of the water pouring amount of the water pouring unit 13 based on the information regarding the first weight, the second weight and the first water pouring. An abnormality notification unit 27 notifies the abnormality detected by the abnormality detection unit 26 to a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
