Abstract:
To provide a recovery unit which can recover more waste toner and developer without overflowing by effectively using up to the space between the carrier and the recovery ports.
This recovery unit has recovery containers with recovery ports to recover at least either of the waste toner from the photoreceptor or the waste developer from the developing unit, full state sensors disposed between the recovery ports of the containers, and a carrier to carry at least one of the recovered waste toner or waste developer toward the full state sensors. At least one of the recovered waste toner or waste developer is accumulated high between the recovery ports.
