The waste disposal facility is provided with a pyrolizing furnace 2 carrying out a dry distillation process of waste and pyrolizing it into pyrolysis gas and pyrolysis residue, a hot air generation furnace 3 capable of supplying hot air for pyrolysis generated by burning the pyrolysis gas to the pyrolizing furnace, the melting furnace 4 carrying out a melting process of the pyrolysis residue, an air preheater 5 preheating air for combustion to be supplied to the melting furnace to a predetermined temperature, a heat exchanger 7 for waste heat recovery capable of recovering waste heat by carrying out heat exchange with the combustion exhaust gas exhausted from the melting furnace, and the waste heat utilizing apparatus 8 utilizing the waste heat recovered by the heat exchanger for waste heat recovery. The air preheater is provided to preheat air for combustion to the predetermined temperature by heat exchange with the hot air for pyrolysis supplied from the hot air generation furnace to the pyrolizing furnace.
