Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the cracking of callets and to enhance workability.
CONSTITUTION: A manual sorting station S' is installed to a part of the front of a three-dimensional warehouse H and a working roller conveyor 41 and an empty container feeding conveyor 44 are mounted on the station S'. A housing container L of callets (a) is sent from the start end of the roller conveyor 41. When the container L to be sorted by a worker M becomes empty, the worker M removes the empty container L' from the working roller conveyor 41 to transfer the same to the conveyor 44 and draws the container L on the upstream side near toward himself irrespective of during sorting operation and the worker M of the container L drawn near further laterally shifts the container L when the downstream part is vacated so as to further draw the container L on the upstream side to perform sorting. The container P' in which sorted callets (a) are charged is placed on the shelf 20 in the three-dimensional warehouse H by an automatic taking in and out machine W.
